in poor taste.

Yes, the shooting of Trayvon Martin was racially charged, and yes it has been sensationalized by the media in a lot of ways. But these "commentary" cartoons on the matter are simply a matter of bad taste.


This bottom one says (if you can't read the bubble) "This wasn't about race. I shot because I felt threatened. Skittles are full of high fructose corn syrup." It is regarding the fact that the only things Martin had on him were an iced tea and bag of Skittles.

Yes, I understand that these are sarcastic and meant to be a jab at society/media influence, but they just bother me.

People certainly weren't putting out shit like this after Emmett Till was killed.
