You do get those unplanned lucky antisocial maniacs in there that actually get pretty far in their schizoid, brutal schemes (case(s) in point: Pol Pot, Mussolini, Francisco Franco, Stalin, Hitler). But I'm not talking about them specifically--I am addressing the common man racist that is xenophobic in every sense, blinded by judgements, bigoted, and (worst of all) a follower. These are the people that allow the aforementioned maniacs to seize power and start knocking people off.
It is the common man racist that is the target of this particular study that links general measurable stupidity with racism.
Ontario's Brock University completed the study that demonstrates how lower IQs leave room for extra prejudice. These low IQs (particularly those in childhood) make it more likely that a person will grow up to become a racist adult.
Also a part of this study (this is so fascinating!!!!): a link between people with bad abstract-reasoning and anti-homosexual prejudice.
We need more studies like this. Maybe if we can trace the source of such hatred we can take steps toward resolving it!
